I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Yellow Allied Cab Company in Burlingame, CA and he once said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets enterprises to effectively manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really should shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a little more reading to see which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Burlingame as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
