I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A relative of mine briefly worked at Buffalo Niagara International Airport in Buffalo, NY and he once said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to easily manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are a number of reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Finetooth
• IntelliContract
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really should shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a little more investigating to determine which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Buffalo as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
