I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at Municipal Airport in Brownwood, TX and she said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more benefits but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are generally the best way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a bit more reading to work out which packages offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Brownwood as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
