I have spent the last 2 months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Airtran Airways in Boston, MA and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets enterprises to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other corporations.

• Accruent

I really should shorten the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do some more research to see which packages offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Boston as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
