I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Mountain View Aviation Boone Airport in Boone, NC and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are further benefits but these are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really have to narrow it down to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to see which programs offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Boone as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
