I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A relative of mine worked at Boise City City – Municipal Court, Public Works Authority in Boise City, OK and he once said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software enables organisations to effectively manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are other product advantages but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other corporations.

• Contract Insight
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are frequently the easiest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do some more investigating to work out which products offer the best features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Boise City as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
