I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine used to work at Liberty Management in Blue Point, NY and he said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I need to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• Memba Context

I really have to reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are generally the best way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a little more research to determine which programs offer the most features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Blue Point as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
