I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Interspace Airport ADV in Bismarck, ND and he once said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to get this type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets organisations to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are a number of advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a little more research to see which products offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Bismarck as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
