I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine worked at Southwestern Aviation in Benson, AZ and he once said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software lets enterprises to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are many benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are other benefits but those are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• IntelliContract
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really have to reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to see which products offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Benson as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
