I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine used to work at Heritage Flight Museum in Bellingham, WA and she said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to effectively manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are a number of advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really should reduce the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do some more investigating to work out which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Bellingham as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
