I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Corniche IPAC International in Auburn, WA and she said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other advantages but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Finetooth
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really must shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the easiest way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do some more investigating to see which packages offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Auburn as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
