I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A relative of mine briefly worked at Victory Aviation in Auburn, IN and he said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows companies to easily manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are other product advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Contract Insight
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a little more research to determine which products offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Auburn as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
