I have spent the last 2 months looking for the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at Ameriel Inc in Atlanta, GA and he said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables enterprises to easily manage the various types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are many reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other advantages but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other corporations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a little more reading to determine which programs offer the most features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Atlanta as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
