I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A relative of mine worked at Ramada Plaza Hotel Atlanta Airport in Atlanta, GA and she said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets organisations to effectively manage the different types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are more benefits but they are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really should reduce the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are frequently the best way to make a good decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a bit more investigating to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Atlanta as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
