I have spent the last few months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Best Western Atlanta Airport in Atlanta, GA and he once said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to effectively manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really must narrow it down to the best software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a little more research to determine which products offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Atlanta as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
