I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Alice-City – Airport, Maintenance in Alice, TX and she said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do some more reading to work out which products offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Alice as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
