I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A friend of mine briefly worked at Metro Knoxville Airport Authority in Alcoa, TN and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables organisations to effectively manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

I really have to reduce the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a little more investigating to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Alcoa as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
