Edgewater Software

October 31st, 2010 | Category: Software

I have spent the last few months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A relative of mine used to work at Hangar in Edgewater, FL and he said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets organisations to effectively manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

  • easily automates the contract cycle
  • increases compliance on both sides
  • lowers risk
  • provides clarity

There are other advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

  • Finetooth
  • Khameleon Software by Oracle
  • Ketera Contract Management Express
  • Accruent

I really have to reduce the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are frequently the easiest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do some more reading to determine which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Edgewater as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
