San Jose Software

April 30th, 2009 | Category: Software

I have spent the last few months looking for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Norman Y Mineta San Jose International Airport in San Jose, CA and he once said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to easily manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

  • automates the contract cycle
  • improves compliance on both sides
  • reduces risk
  • improves clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

  • Finetooth
  • Khameleon Software by Oracle
  • Softrax
  • Memba Context

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do some more research to see which products offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in San Jose as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are a number of reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

There are other benefits but these are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.
